J. Spaceman plays in Spiritualized and used to play in Spacemen 3. This is an album of edited guitar snippets, ranging from sheet-metal clang wailing to calm Oval breakfast moments. The dynamics and storytelling are particularly impressive. Chirp chirp suddenly turns into Pterodactyl screech and you’re fucked. Great stuff. Probably disliked by Spiritualized fans and vice-versa.
