Finally, we get the release that moombahton’s been waiting for, David Heartbreak’s debut EP for Toddla T’s UK based Girls Music, I Am Heartbreak. The Charlotte native has been extra busy as of late, crossing as many genres as time zones, adding explorations in moombahsoul and moombhangra to the moombahton genre. However, his next greatest contribution may be his best to date, that of his duet with Toddla T on moombashment banger “That Jeffrey.” Bashment is the increasingly popular UK genre blending house with dancehall riddims for maximum excitement. Slow things down a bit and drop an incredible spine winding, booty dropping and sensually suggestive bassline and you get an ever funky concoction that for spliff toting reggae lovers to massive moombahton fanatics should be an exciter.
