All I can safely say is that if your easily offended, it’s probably best you dont listen to the FOKN Bois from Ghana, I mean listen to them but dont say I didn’t warn you! Mensa and Wanlov are easily two of the funniest individuals I’ve ever met. Their honesty is the most rewarding aspect of all their songs, performances and music videos.
I first hear of them through my brother in a less funny Nigerian Rap duo called Show Dem Camp. When he introduced me to their feature length Musical, in which they wrote, acted, produced and co-directed. It was titled “Coz Ov Moni“. Please spare 40 minutes to watch it, for those with out a good African ear they have included subtitles for your benefit.
Their new album “FOKN Wit Ewe” holds back a lot less, having seen them in Brixton last month it’s safe to say their subject matter has only got more controversial and hilarious. If you dont believe me listen to their album below on Bandcamp. Pure genius….
