A few weeks ago amidst the fervour of what a Fridy night actually entails, ISYSARCHIVE we’re cookig up a delightful storm as part of the Tate Tanks: “A series of performance events taking place in the Tanks at Tate Modern in September and October 2012″. This was a classy collaborative combination on a mass scale also including NTS radio.
It featured a youth orchestra put together by ISYS playing alongside an original score curated by NTS through emerging acts such as Mypandashallfly, Dark Sky, VONDELPARK and SLIME amongst others. To say the event was wholesome would be an understatement.
It was a celebration of London, a celebration of all those individuals and subtle nuances that make this Great City home to us all. More-over it was a celebration of me and you, beautifully curated by the good of ISYS.
After that night I got a much rounder picture of what their whole ethos is about. Being proud of how far we’ve come and celebrating it for right or wrong. These disposables we’re part of the show which was titled “A City Symphonic” is still as yet sadly a one off but these offer a very smaill insight to the feeling emanating from the performance as a whole.
