Tim and Barry have never been ones to tow the line. So when The Barbican asked the east London based duo to put on a show, they decided to bring their own brand of originality to Europe’s largest multi-arts venue with a heavy-duty version of Just Jam.
Just Jam is a live music event streamed straight from the underground to the internet. It showcases the grittiest electronic music from around the globe, whilst backed up with contemporary visual art that hasn’t been seen in music television since De La Soul released the video for “Eye Know”.
Just Jam is now taking a giant leap from raves and green screened studio to the Barbican. The show is a huge undertaking which will have a 20 metre screen, streaming the event live from the 2,000 people at the venue, to the millions of people tuning in around the world.
Acts such as Omar Souleyman, Loefah, Chunky, Big Narstie, Kurupt FM and RP Boo, will have their own bespoke visual artistry playing live to accompany their performance. So Just Jam with Tim and Barry, because this state-of-the-art multimedia experience will be like no other.
