Half Way Campaign from Alice Hughes on Vimeo.

On 12th July 2013, the Hudson family became homeless. They were evicted when their landlord, a multi-national supermarket, decided to sell their home of 13 years. Unable to afford alternative local accommodation, they declared themselves homeless to the council.

This film documents their struggles and the emotional roller-coaster a hugh number of British people face in regards to their living condition. With councils selling off vast social housing plots to private developers and very little affordable housing being built it is paramount that stories such as these are made. As a magnifying glass of the society we are allowing to become Britain and to ignite the wheels of change and community activism.
