Me and fellow Gurn crew member Mello had a little wonder into Hoxton (don’t, please) on Saturday an went and checked out Panik’s exhibition show at the Pure Evil gallery down Leonard Street. On the ground floor there was a really dope collection of Panik’s recent illustration work with some bright and bashy characters, one in particular featuring an Abu Hamza character has been screened and is being made in to a limited number of prints. Down in the basement there was more of Panik’s graffiti stuff with some nice throw-ups an dubs all framed looking pretty and hung on a wall in a courtyard bombarded with scratch filled throw-ups. There was also a small ATG crew room next to the courtyard which had some really nice bits and pieces from other crew members and artists associated with the Ahead ‘a The Game fam. All in all, it was a nice show so go check it out if your in east London anytime soon. It runs till the 26th March and the gallery is open 10-6pm daily. Also, don’t forget to reach the second ATG Do One party down at the Russian Bar on the 27th March, big vibes.
