The time had come where i’d submit a mix to the DMT series. For this one i have plucked a mix from the archives (of my hardrive)

This is the second mix i had done IN MY LIFE. A time were indie pop was predominant on the dance floors of Leicester (where i spent the first half of my university endeavours), and my peers were “all” UK Funky/Bassline DJ’s with a niche following. Yes this was a very exciting time for music – circa 2008 – but i was bored by my peers and was in search for other things which you’ll probably hear in the mix.

Inspired by the early Annie Mac and her 2010 compilation, Dubsided One compilation mixed by Subskrpt, Jamie XX’s Benji B Radio 1 mix Bok Bok & L-vis 1990, Deep Teknologi, The Count & Sinden & numerous of Indie bands…

I done this in one take, few minor mistakes, but all in all i’m proud of it. Embrace yourself in the infancy of my “DJ career” lol
